Meet Austin Robertson, Our Uplift Thrift Store Manager
I was born and raised in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. At 17, I graduated a year early and began exploring different parts of the country. I lived in Idaho, California, and Illinois before eventually returning to Utah, where I have remained ever since. Family is very important to me, and I am grateful to be able to support and care for my parents.
My education has taken me in several different directions. Upon graduating from high school, I earned a General Certificate from Snow College through the AP classes I completed. I later studied Philosophy at Salt Lake Community College and eventually attended DATC (Davis Technical College) to pursue an interest in esthetics. Each experience has given me the opportunity to explore different subjects and develop a broad range of interests.
Retail management allows me to combine many of the things I enjoy most. I particularly enjoy merchandising, creating beautiful displays, and working with fixtures and product placement. I also enjoy finding ways to make a space look and feel its best. I appreciate the opportunity to lead and develop others as well. Working with people and helping them build their skills is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening and thrifting. I also have a Chihuahua named Lola Grace, who keeps me company at home.
I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute to this community.
